Question for everyone i have a bayliner 245 cruiser. THe windsheild on my boat sprung a leak. I have an alumminum frame under the frame there is a rubber gasket. and the frame is mounted to the fiberglass boat with screws. Screws sandwitch the aluminum frame to rubber gasket then to fiberglass on boat. It seems like 3 of the screws came out and i tried to tighten the aluminum frame screws to the fiberglass boat but they are lose. Any idea i think somehow the screws made the hole larger. Should i buy new larger screws and try and secure the windshelid or how would i fix this. Note the pass through from the boat to the anchor is attached to the winsdshelid corner i cant have it leak as its leaking water into my cabin. Any ideas? What screws do i use should i use adhesive

your windows are most likely tailor made systems

if you need new glazing or parts go directly to https://www.taylormadeproducts.com/windshield-glass-solutions/

however the frame is screwed to the boat, and for that sealed joint, you most likely need to remove the whole windshield assembly, clean up the bedding that was used (either butyl tape or caulking), fix the screw holes, and then re-assemble

you can try to drill larger holes and install larger screws, however you may find that the coring in the area has been compromised.

If you have access to the underside, you could use bolts and locknuts... shouldn't come loose after that
