windshield for 1997 Sylvan 196 Sport

I am looking for a windshield for my 1997 Sylvan 196 Sport. Any information on a boat salvage place or central list of totaled boats would help. Also, if anyone can confirm that the same body model was used 1996-2002 (or more years), that would be great.

Welcome aboard.

I always push the iboats store above all however, http://greatlakesskipper.com/category-1/9-boat-windshields-and-parts.html sells surplus stuff and you "might" find they cost a bundle of money..... give it a look and you might find a match.

The windshield replacement is the hardest to do.

iboats store has the best of all worlds but we are honest when we help our member's.

I purchase a used windshield from ebay and had to adapt it........ it can be done. Is your windshield missing or damaged?

The dealer is probably your last resort

best of luck to find anything for this boat. I couldn't even find a size vent that are supposed to be universal.. I had to buy 2 of them because i couldn't find a match to original. now im in need of a glove box because the moron that had it ripped it out cause it was pealing and threw it away. I got a good deal on boat thinking it wouldn't be hard to find, well its impossible. If you decide to ever part this boat ill pay real good money for the glove/radio/ice box whatever they call that piece.
