Windshield frame bolt... what is it called???

I'm currently looking for this bolt, I need 12 of them and at worst case I could make something close, however I would prefer the exact piece

the bolt is flat on two sides, to make is slide into the channel under the windshield frame

Looks like a toilet flange bolt. Check the hardware store and ask about flange bolts. They are generally brass, so it won't rust.

Looks like a this square headed bolt, you can buy Home depot , lowes if you need them thinner just grind the head down.

I tried like mad to find those.

West Marine used to have them in their catalog but it's a discontinued product.

Use Johnny bolts (toilet)

Thats awesome, as soon as Mark42 posted toilet flange I was like ureka!!! only other question that I have reguards to this is when i took off the windshield originaly there was a grey foam like material should this be put back or some kinda of rubber strip, or silicone sealent?? at the base of the windshield frame?

Hello Escapade..

First .. its called a speed bolt ..kinda reverse of a speed nut.. should have teeth on the bottom so you dont have 2 peeps to install.. if you can reach inside and out .. though bolt it !

You can use some weather strip from HD around your shield so you dont have water on your dash..but more important is seal your fasteners well m8...

Ayuh,... In my experince,... Those T headed bolts are Much smaller than a toliet bolt....

I made a set of them for my barge by grinding down some small SSteel machine screws....
