Winnipeg welcomes the Atlanta Thrashers!!

Congrats to Winnipeg......for a successful move in getting the struggling Atlanta Thrashers franchised moved north.
It's been an incredibly long and tiring job trying to get the NHL, under the control of that dubious little G-Bettman, to think of allowing (or regaining) any more Canadian NHL franchises.
It's going to be interesting to see what support the franchise gets over...say a 5 year run and if they can get the support back that they lost with the Jets years ago.
Good on ya' guys!!
.....oh yeah, and bring some bug spray with...the mosquito's get pretty nasty in Manitoba

Gotta say I am happy about this move, I never felt that Winnipeg should have moved, while Quebec was also a good move............but I'm biased.....

It will be intresting to see if they keep the Jets as there name. Hope so.
