Its getting real close here. We are fully into the spring weather pattern. It hit 60 here so I was able to get the boat cleaned and prepped to drop in tomorrow for a shake down run. :watermelon:

Snow just stopped. We got 5 .5 inches. Right now it's 21 degrees. Winter stays a long time up this high. I've seen snow into April. I won't be on the water till sometime in May.

Evidently Mother Nature and Punxsutawney Phil aren't on the same page because my area is suppose to get another foot of snow tomorrow night.

WaterDR, I feel your pain! I am done with this winter crap. Cannot wait to get back on the water. Got my annual bill for my slip, so i know the season is coming. Unfortunately the water is covered with ice and guys are out there fishing on top of it.

We are still fozen and burried in snow and ice. About a month from now and it will be a lot different, but still not boating weather.

I too, feel your pain! New boat, first pontoon, and 3 feet of snow in yard and 100 icefishing shanties on the lake. my office is filled with boxes of boating stuff i ordered, and im on these forums everyday learning everything I can to pass the time until spring. my wife thinks i bumped my head with all the reading about boat stuff.

Well all I can say is I splashed mine today and got in some fishing, but it is calling for more snow next week, o well.

It's at this time of year when I remember all those times in the other half of the year when I didn't "feel" like going out on the boat. I must have been crazy.

the weather here is in the yo-yo pattern now, I sure do got the spring itch and cant wait to get on the lake,for now I'm looking forward to removing the cover so I can get some work to the pontoon done. its been a long winter I spent a good bit of money on pontoon stuff...lol

I hear you junkman I did that last year, and the same here, but I dropped mine so when a nice days comes along I am ready. We are in the same pattern , may have 3 to 5 days of rain then a nice plus 50 day.

It's 75* here now, going up into the 80's this weekend. Boat is in Arizona, we are still in California so it will be Harleys, not pontoon this weekend.

I'm dying to install my new carpet that i ordered months ago...still sitting rolled up, covered in plastic in the basement...every winter seems to last longer than the last!
