I have a 1994 Yamaha 150 txtr. Is it better to add fuel stabilizer to the gas and run it throught he carbs for the winter, or should i disconnect the gas line and run the motor out of gas? The boat will typicall sit from november to april.

Re: Winter Storage

Lots of different opinions on this, but I like to drain my carbs with the float bowl drain screw, pump bulb to "flush out" carbs, replace drain plugs and you should be in great shape. Of course, use a heavy dose of fuel stabilizer to protect the entire fuel system over the winter. Good Luck!

I don't like draining carbs I belive running a sta-ble and fogging is better so drying out of gaskets happens
