Hi Guys, Going to winterize my boat soon any tips would be welcome. Just purchased a Mastercraft pro 190 (1990) with a barnd new Ford 351 5.8L Engine. Bought the boat from a Mastercraft dealer in the UK. First off I intend to install a pro flush kit on the intake hose to impeller, Using a garden hose and run tap water straight into engine, run engine a while Then swich hose into a bucket of antifreeze, run through engine untill it comes out of the exhaust ports at stern, at this point I would fogg the carb and shut off engine. Is OK to do it this way with the antifreeze or should I drain of water from from engine and hoses first. Also what is the best fluid to add to the fuel and is it better to change oil and filter before or after storage. Thanks
Abe.

Re: Winterization

Change the oil before.

The engine only has 3 hours run in time on it. I will probably only do another couple hours this season ( not getting til next month ) so should just change it anyway.
Thanks
