Just purchased 1987 Bayliner 18ft with 2.3 OMC Cobra. I've winterized outboards, but not these..

some drain water, some pump antifreeze through system, which is best? rest is fogging and stabilizing, and changing oil.

What do you guys recommend? thanks for the help.. jshoe

Re: Winterization

I have the exact same set up, and I drained. Actually I followed the manual EXACTLY, except for the gear oil because I had already changed it weeks before winterizing.

I DID do a few extra things for personal edification. I undid all the water hoses around the water pump and allowed them to drain into the bilge as well.
