You can, and the oil will reach the parts better if you have the all of the spark plugs out. Spray directly through the carburetor throats with the throttles wide open.
When you finish that part, spray liberally through the spark plug holes with the engine tilted up, turning the flywheel by hand to distribute the oil better.
Store the motor in the running position.
