I just bought a used boat with an 1988 merc 115 two stroke. I live in Canada. What should I do to this motor for winter storage? Fluids etc?

OK, Put fuel stabilizer in the fuel tank and run her on the flusher until the stabilizer reaches the carbs. Now spray fogging oil into carb throats, and try to stall her. After you have a good smoke going, shut her off if she didn't stall. let motor drain well. Change gear oil. grease steering and motor fittings. Spray powerhead with anit-corrosion, charge battery and disconnect it. Top off PTT fulid. Have a beer...

+1 for Chris' suggestions....I also like to take out the plugs and spray fogging oil in the plug holes as well, then put plugs back in.
