Winterizing One last Thing

I think she is ready to get out of my garage, I just don't have the room.

Motor is done, leg oil is changed.

Is there anything I should do to the cables (throttle, tilt)??

I am far north, it will get cold.

-27 celcius today (-17 f)

Grease in all grease points. Remove the battery for warmer storage.

Tilt the motor down to running position. Grease and fully withdraw the trim rods.

What kind of grease?

I have never greased them before?

Marine wheel bearing grease will do. Get a grease gun from the auto parts store if you don't have one. Grease the trailer bearings, too, while you are at it.

Not on the trim rods, You have to do the steering ram by hand as well.
