yep, i do it myself.
i use the factory s/m + the stickys in the adults only thread.
i've made me a list to help me out...
not in a nut shell but here it is...
Add Sta-Bil & top off fuel tanks, run to at least normal operationl temp.
Fog thru carb. With fogging oil
Wash Hull
Ucky ducky hull
Wax hull
Silicon Eng. Block
R&R hypoid oil
Drain block
Drain exhaust manifold
Drain exhaust riser
Lube steering shaft
Lube grease zerts
Armor all vinyl
Remove bat.
R&R engine oil
Clean FA
Remove drain plug
Tape gas vent holes shut
Remove prop, lub prop shaft, waterproof grease & tape over exhaust
Plastic bag over carb.
Remove t-stat & fill block & manifold with anti-freeze
Remove sparkplugs and squirt in 1 oz. oil, rotate w/o plugs for 15 sec.
Remove valve cover and inspect for moisture
Lub ride-guide steering cable end
Lub pivot socket of steering pin
Lub u-jointshaft splines & engine coupling splines
Lub drive unit upper & lower pivot pins
Lub drive unit hinge pins
Lub u-joint
Lub prop shaft
Check bellows condition
Check water pump impeller, usually replace it
Check drive paint surface spray w/ corossion inhibitor
Check engine alignment

i made this list up in a word program and used a chart. so ea. item gets checked off, dated, and any discrepancies noted..
last few years i been storing my drive inside over the winter too.
