Do not order 420351-1. It is misleading & will not work.

18-1801 will work fine. Or even this one:
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...p39100&**********=735038548&*******=116453499

If you want to eliminate the separate choke switch, you can get a push-to-choke keyswitch. These will work:
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...switch&**********=735038548&*******=116453499
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...switch&**********=735038548&*******=116453499
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...p39760&**********=735038548&*******=116453499
(Picture is wrong on that one.)

Neither of the black wires should connect to the corner of the vaccum switch. One should connect to the centre of the vaccum switch and then go on to the keyswitch. The other should run straight to the keyswitch.

A white wire should, however, run from from the corner of the vaccum switch and run up to the saftey switch, which is between the armature plate and the block.

You can get a better look at the Sierra switches (MPxxxxxx & 18-xxxx) here:
http://www.sierramarine.com/catalog_pdf/Sierra_8023-147.pdf

Like I said before, I am not on here often enough and Paul has it going on with this. His last post made me post this to let you know what it was for my situation. The switch that I am using has the separate choke situation as it has the fine thread mounting ring to mount the way I need. I had the switch with the choke "pushed in at start/run" but it was coarse thread and it wouldn't mount for me as the lock nut was too thick.
Merely a cosmetic situation. Yours probably would have worked had you known it "wuz what it wuz"
