Welcome markbart!

Wiring a boat is for the Boat Topics forum. On the other problem, since you had to jump the solenoid, I have to assume you had no power at the key switch if the engine would not crank. Look on the engine harness for a fuse holder. There should be a 20amp fuse there. Probably popped. If it is blown, replace it and retry engine. If it continues to blow, then we have a problem.

thank you for your reply did check the manul and it said if I show full trim on the gadge check for a broke wire in the front of the motor. And I do have full tilt on the gage. (tilt not working trimed all the way down). will be checking this thrusday. will keep u posted. On the wiring I was just asking for an opinion. Bad wiring on this boat would like to change it all. again thanks for your info
