There is an error in this diagram that has been circulating the web. It shows a black wire attached to the ground terminal at the bottom of the terminal/fuse strip, with no apparent connection at the other end. That wire grounds the voltage regulator in event there is an accessory generator kit installed. Otherwise, the wire shouldn't even be shown there if there is no generator kit.
