Hello. I have a 1991 Fisher SV-18GT bass boat aluminum hull. I have some rewiring to do from a previous owner. I have searched several websites wiring diagrams. I know that Tracker bought out Fisher in the early 2000. My main concern is with the wiring routed after the main wiring harness connector. There is an opaque connector under the console, that has wiring that had been cut after the second one connector half and that is where it ends. I suspect that the wires either go to the Instrument gauges, switches or circuit breakers or aerator control panel. I am wondering if there is a wiring diagram for this boat and where to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

look at the factory manual for your motor. that is the only information you will most likely find. it will have the controls, gauges and motor wiring

beyond that, hope the builder used the ABYC standard boat wiring colors and chase the colors

Hey Scott. Thanks for the info. I have been making my own notes as I go through the "rat nest" of wiring. I have a 5 gal bucket about half full of excess wiring. It is amazing what the previous owner did to the original wiring. Lots of electrical tape, scotch lock connectors. I have been using the ABYC cable and color code charts, and help from a service manager at a local Bass Pro shop. The wiring is finally taking shape. I have learned a lot on boat wiring what to do and not to do. I ordered the 12 volt Bible for boats and have just started to read it.
One thing that does puzzle me is that there is a dark blue wire coming from the bow that connects to a two wire plug and then changes to two dark blue with white stripe wires and then has a splitter and then it changes to a solid dark blue wire that connects to the interior lights switch on the console panel. I also noticed that the trim-up wire is also dark blue with white stripe. Why would they use that wire color code for two different systems?

Bass boats sometimes had a trolling motor or trim system switches in the bow. Are either of those a possibility?
