Wiring Gauge Question

I am restoring a 1988 21' Starcraft Mariner CC with a 90 hp Evinrude. Need to know what gauge marine wire to use on most of the wiring, I am thinking 14 gauge, but not sure. I know the battery wires are bigger, but I'm talking about the rest of the wiring for like bilge pumps, fishfinders, radio, lights, etc.
Thanks For Your Help !

It depends. The main things to consider for choosing the minimum wire gauge for a circuit are how many amps that the circuit is protected for and the length of the wire run. You can use a calculator like this one to help you choose.

Agree with Tod. Do some reads.

on a 21 foot boat, 16 gauge will cover most of your needs. however you need to do math to verify. find the load, find the total length of wire, calculate voltage drop for various wire gauges, make sure you are within limits

Thanks I was thinking 14 gauge also. What could be installed on a 21' Starcraft that would require heaver gauge wire, other than a troller motor ? Its just a fishing boat? Anymore thoughts ?
