Here comes the beans....

I purchased this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4523336752&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:MT:6

on ebay, and I am not sure exactly where it will plug into the factory harness. Given the price I imagine it is only a 4 plug flat connection, no brakes (don't need them here).

This connection I purchased will plug into the factory harness (somewhere) and then run down and out (somewhere) and become the receptable on the rear of my jeep for my boat trailer connection to go into.

I hope that was more specific, I went back and read my first post and it made me laugh... thank you for the reply.

stick it inside rubber seal to split in middle of bottom of gate or leave a couple feet and leave inside rolled up untill you use it, might have to drill or cut a little off the panel so the wire comes out without pinching it I usually leave the 2 feet inside you judge to your trailer tongue plug .inside out of the elements is always better th
an hanging outside like a PULL ME CORD EDit: at the bottom of panel by the floor where they meet
