Thank you. I lost spark after removing the electric startER I’m replacing it with a brand new one once it arrives. I should be able to get spark with a rope pull don’t you think?

Yes you should get spark with a rope pull but the key switch must be in the ON position

Why are you replacing the electric starter/ What was wrong with it?

The electric starter was full of water and crapped out. Previous guy left it out in the rain Without the cowling on
