i dont want to sound cheap but I have alot I may have to invest into my boat, so if anyone has a wiring diagram for a 1988 thundercraft with the 4.3 omc cobra i/o boat can you possably scan and send it to me @ skinfultat2artist@msn.com

There wasn't really any wiring diagrams for the Thundercraft (I've had 2), the wiring for the engine and the related dash gauges would be in the engine manual (should have one), if you have issues/questions with anything else on the boat post a question and we'll all try to help.

thanks alot...I'd like to rewire the boat and get the tilt to work as it doesnt right now. I dont have the engine manual or any others. All Ive got is you guys and youve been great with helping...Ive just got one possessed boat:devil:

If you truly have a 1988 OMC Cobra...this is the manual 1988 Cobra Manual you really want, I know it's pricey but in my opinion it's worth more than twice as much as the aftermarket ones. You want to verify you have a 1988 though, not uncommon to see a previous yr engine in a boat (ie:1987) you need to verify the model number you'll find on the rocker cover if the last 3 charaters are GDE or GDP then it's an 88, if they end in ARJ,ARY,FTC,SRC,SRY then you have an 87 engine/drive.
