Hope you read this Don, I just wanted to say thanks. Im really glad you pushed me into studying and using the wiring diagram. Those wires that looked like black groud wires, actually did turn out to be power wires for the tilt and trim. Ive learned a valuable lesson here. Thanks again.

Yes, I read it. Just hope others read it and don't just "ASSUME" because of color, what a wire actually is or does. I've learned to become really color blind when it comes to wiring problems (especially on older boats). Once I know where a wire goes, I hook it up.
