10 minutes in same stuff different period USA is only playing with 2 forwards pressing and sitting three on D
15 minutes in Campbell makes a great save to hold the one goal lead
17:00 USA finally presses and gets a great backdoor chance only to have the Swiss goalie come up huge!
18:00 USA presses 3 into the Offensive zone to counter Swiss from pulling the goalie
19:40 SWI finally pulls their goalie but USA continues to press

And thats a game USA 2-1 win to take the top spot in their pool


this was a boring game overall I would like to see what it would have been like if USA had a days rest rather then back to back but a W is a W

It was a good game but a little sloppy. The Canada/Sweden game was awesome. Great tournament...I look forward to it every year. Nice play by play you gave. If I was here yesterday I would have given you someone to talk to so you didnt look crazy.

We have a pretty cool thing going so far but the Canadians leave me for the USA games! The Canadians are not happy about the loss judging by tsn.ca but I expected nothing less. Should be fun tomorrow we get to see Canada vs SWI, I was impressed by SWI's defense but I hate the way it slows the game down. Anyway your more then welcome tomorrow, god knows I could use the company as during the Canadian games I AM the token American!LOL

Finally got to it ... THANKS! You didn't look dumb, and I appreciate your efforts. Now it is time for PSU v Florida and then the Pens in the Winter Classic tonight ... hopefully the PA teams do well today!

We have a pretty cool thing going so far but the Canadians leave me for the USA games! The Canadians are not happy about the loss judging by tsn.ca but I expected nothing less. All is well here. Got back home from the party and overnight stay about 1 p.m. EST. Great party !!! The rest of the day will be taken at a very sedate pace though. Mrs Ken and I were re-living our youth at the 1970's Disco Party !!!! the joints need to rest a little today.

Great time bringing in the new year ... disappointed watching PSU handing the game away to Florida, just too many mistakes by the young team. Hopefully the Penguins will play better tonight ...

Ummm, 5 too many interceptions! YIKES! If McGloin could have calmed down a bit ... PSU handed them the game with the blocked punt, the poor pass interference call, and most importantly the 5 interceptions. Sloppy ... and yet they were right in the game and had a great opportunity to win it until the 5th interception! Oh well, PSU should be loaded next year, only 11 seniors on the whole team.
