wobble rollers

I have a venture trailer. The wobble wheels are the same as EZ trailers but the inner hubs are different and stepped down. I am having trouble finding them. The dealer by me is no longer there. The real problem is I keep losing them. I put the boat in and come back for my trailer and find a roller missing. I don't think they are being stolen because it happens at different times. All clips are tight, I am careful when loading and unloading. Over the past three years I probably have replaced at least fifteen rollers. Has anyone else had this problem? I am considering using SS cotter pins in stead of the clips.

Re: wobble rollers

Use the S.S.Cotter pins, after using the clips for my EZ and having the same thing happen, which resulted in a severely scratched hull, i drilled out the clip holes and used cotter pins w/SS washers,no problems, just make sure the cotters and washers are small enough to allow for wheel compression without scratching hull..

Re: wobble rollers

Thank you I thought I was the only one having this problem. I will use the cotter pins. It is discouraging to come back from a day out to find a missing roller, as you know.
