Wondering if my flywheel is shot.....

I got the dreaded grind and I'm in the process of replacing the starter drive. But I'm wondering if my flywheel teeth are shot too. I don't know what it should look like so I took some pics of mine and I'm hoping you guys could shed some light for me.
It's a 1988 Mariner 90hp OB.
Do the teeth look spent? I'm afraid I'll just chew up my new starter drive again if my flywheel is spent.

not sure how your parts came but change the spring 2 might of been y it got ate up the first time

Now if I could just iron out a cold start problem....Grrrrrrrrr.
