acts like the fireing order is wrong ,but have checked all 6 coil color stripes
top is tan and blue ; middle is tan , bottom is tan and green ;is it possible that the key sheered the first time i turned it over,i set timeing pointer

Benny,
Check your pickup timing, it should be 6-8* just as the plates begin to move and aligned with the bottom mark on the cam. My v6 is very finicky about the link and sync. Also, it is very hard to cold start without the warm up lever up, which advances the timing to about 12-15* if I remember right.

Another thought, when you sync. the carbs, do not crank the screws down really hard, just snug them down.

The procedure is in the OEM Manual.

It calls out to undo the throttle cable, undo top and bottom adjusting screws on the linkage letting the throttle plates snap back, apply slight pressure to the tang on the carb linkage adjusting plate then snug down the screw, repeat on the other carb.

Connect a throttle shaft amplifier to a carb shaft, advance the throttle arm on the motor until the amplifier just moves and check the alignment on the cam. Adjust the cam if needed. ( On mine the Throttle arm is pretty much vertical, the cam is about midway on the adjuster. )

Connect a timing light to number one, start the motor and check pickup timing. 6-8* btdc If needed adjust the cam.

Hope this helps.

thanks jimmy cant get it to start ,
going to fix the exhaust plate .check my fly wheel everything looks good right now , all i can do is static time it right now its at 24 ,im thinking that the
exhaust plate is hurting the vacum on thecyl that my fuel pumps pull off of . but not sure because my bowls are full .thank you
