Hmmmm...Interesting:
Never had a 2 stroke that didnt need a bit of choke and throttle at start...Even sometimes warm I have to put the throttle up a "tad". No big deal. If everything is working as it should, You will find the perfect sequence for starting your motor hot or cold. Ive got it down to how many"bumps" of the primer it takes to smooth it out from cold start!
Nothing to worry over, its not much effort to use the warm up throttle or primer/choke. If it is for you, might be time to move to a 4 stroke injected.
