Won't trim up

Merc.<br />Will trim down with the toggle but will only come up with the 'trailer' switch. This makes me think it's not a fuse or breaker. Is this as straight forward as I think it is? It's been raining like crazy so I haven't had it apart yet. One power wire to the thumb toggle, one wire up, one wire down. Relays? The rain may stop tomorrow or saturday so I'll try and fix it then.<br />Thanks.

The trailer button powers the same up relay it just does not go through the trim limit switch SO<br /><br />The trim limit switch is the best first guess BUT it could be the trim up buttom also <br /><br />Time to break out the meter and see were it stops <br /><br /><br />tommays

I found a similar thread that had the limit switch as the culprit. I just did a search on Merc. limit switches... sounds like a bit of a job. <br />Thanks.

Hmmm.<br />Has anyone ever by-passed this switch? Any competent boater would know when to stop trimming up... right?<br />Thanks.

You were right <br />Limit switch. I made a jumper to bypass it. All's well.<br />Thanks.
