Wood finish formula?

My recollection is that someone on here posted a formula for a wood finish that was part varnish and part linseed oil and maybe something else. I know I saved it but am having trouble finding it on my computer. Searching on the forum does not appear to work as all I come up with is commercial products that iBoats wants me to buy.
Anyone remember where this was on the forum or who posted it?

My great, great, great grandaddy wog made the ole timers formula. I have no idea why this is not up on the stickys above.

Are you asking about the mixture of . . . Polyurethane, linseed oil, and mineral spirits? It is generally known as a wood sealer/waterproofing.
