Nothing other than a poor screw in 1/8 inch floor which never made it to the edge of the boat. If you go to this web page http://hometown.aol.com/btu205/myhomepage/ you'll see what I am asking. How do I seal a wood floor to my alluminum boat around the edge?

Take the boat to a good welder and him him put in an aluminum floor the thickness of a traffic sign. Cover with carpeting . It will last forever.

You Don't Seal the Edge of the Plywood Floor, with the Aluminum Sidepanels, Or the Ribs........
The Floor is Cut, Fit,+ Pop-rivited Down.........
Then cover with your choice of material.........

Every 1 I've taken apart had Gaps from 1/8th", to 1/2".......

My 25+ year-old Starcraft still had it's original (poorly painted) plywood floor when I re-did it last year (the part that gave way did so because of a foolish college prank).

Anyway, I don't think you'd want it sealed - how would any moisture get-out from underneath the floor?

I've got some pics over here, if you're interested.

Brian,Bondo's right again.I have only seen one person seal the edge of their floor to the wall with caulking and within 2 yrs floor rotted right out. With mine I was 1/4" from edge all around and all I did was put carpet right to the wall.Never had a problem with it at all over 7 yrs and wood still looked like new.
