Worried about your spelling?

Not sure if this was posted before, but I just downloaded the latest version of Mozilla's Firefox and it has a built in spell checker. If you misspell a word, it underlines it in red .

Spelling is the least of my worries.

I’ve been using my word program; it has a rather good spell checker. On a related question, I use office 2000, I’m thinking about getting a new computer. Most of the newer ones come with some version of vista installed. Will my office 2000 be compatible with Vista? Right now im using windows XP.

The trouble with spellchecker is that it only knows what it is told. I was corresponding with a bank officer whose name was Giddens. , The spellchecker tried to change her name to giddyness. It doesn't know the difference between Know and now or know and no. You and your etcetera, etcetera, ekcetera.

I would be very surprised if it didn't work. I've not seen any rumbling about it. Now printer drivers are another story, as demonstrated by another thread here.
