Now I am looking into these furuno set ups and have committed myself to a lcx-28c hd unit or something similiar...Is the Furuno really that good the combo is pretty preicy is it totally worth it?

Furuno gets good reviews. I know one thing I`n not happy with ny new Lowrance 510c. It looses bottom and freezes up. My x75 older Lowrance was a much better graph. I just got my X510c back from Lowrance need to test it on water yet. I just bought the graph in April and only used it five times.

Yes they are pricy but you get what you pay for. There is a reason why more commerical boats and yachts run Furuno than all the other brands put together.

I have a FCV585 on my boat and would have no other except for the new FCV1100...if I hit the lotto

so which furuno i want to spend over 1k for sure but not crazy over no more than 15 whats the best combo unit? for big lakes rivers and some ocean also
