Worth of a 89 125hp

Hi all I have a 1989 force 125hp that I took off my boat and replaced with a 95 merc 150 xr6, I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea how much I should be asking for this motor, it has 120psi on all cylinders and runs great, the a tad faded but looks sharp still, it?s been very well maintained and has always been reliable.

Any info would be great

Try for $800. Make sure you can demo it.

Hi, seems these motors aren't in demand in my area. I posted mine and I got more offers to part it out. I hate to do that, I was hoping someone had a bad engine and needed to do a simple swap.

Here is some pictures of my motor, I had painted it in the spring, the paint held up well for the season.

On the tilt /trim picture, you can see my jackplate that I installed. That was the best addition I installed. It corrected most of the torque steer, and increased speed about 4kts. As a side note, it allows me to swap engines to the newer bolt patterns. The boat is a 21ft bayliner, not in bad shape. Its a good fishing boat.
