at WOT the boat kinda sounds bogged and runs heavy, if I back off about an inch or so the RPMs climb a bit and runs smooth.

Why is that? or what might this indicate?

Look into the carb throat when the throttle is wide open and see if the butterfly is at its maximum open, 90 degrees to the backplane of the carb. Sometimes the linkage can slip. If so you need to do a link and sync procedure which is outlined in the FAQ section of this forum and should be in your manual as well.

yah I checked and the fly is opening passed 90 degrees. Dosnt setting the max spark and timing only adjust the trigger not the movement of the butterfly?

* Ill read through the link and sync write up again.
