WOT on my Evinrude 115?

Hello Everyone,

I have a 1993 Evinrude 115 Tracker.

It is attatched to a 1989 18 foot cc Invader. Right now, I am able to go 35 mph top speed with WOT at 5000 rpm's

Can someone please tell me if I can/should be getting more RPM's at WOT or MPH?

You're close. I think you should be closer to 5500 and a couple MPH faster.

The guys in the prop section are guru's in that area. Raising your motor is one option.

I just recently replaced my prop with a Turning Point Hustler aluminum. It was cheap and although it didn't do a thing for my top speed, it absolutely eliminated some blow out issues I had when powering out of turns or from nailing it from a deap stop.
