thanks for the quick reply.looks like the old hurricane is right on the money.1984 hurricane 17 foot deckboat 3.8.runs like a sewing machine so far.the motor and outdrive are like new.i plan on taking care of them the best i know how.i hear they are hard to work on and maybe find parts. this is a great sight for information and to learn.thanks everyone.
