I am looking for a 13x19 prop for my 87 evinrude and found this on craigslist

This is a 13 1 /4 x 19 prop. brand new never used for suzuki, johnson, evinrude $$$ 65.00!!! Needs hub kit though $30.00

He is selling it now for $40, would I be better off buying one with the hub already with it?

Re: Would I be better off?

If it's a square bore prop that uses the replaceable hub kits then it'll fit any motor with a 4 1/4" gearcase and is a pretty good deal. If it has the old style pressed in hub I doubt you'll get a prop shop to press in a new hub for 30.00. Still a decent deal if the prop really is unused.

Re: Would I be better off?

Thanks for the reply :)

I got an offer for two omc 13x19 aluminum props for $60 that are supposed to be in very good shape.

I am a noob so please take that into consideration, but is omc supposed to be evinrude and johnsons?

Outboard Marine Corp was the parent company of Johnson & Evinrude at one time.

A 13 1/4" diameter prop will fit most 3 and 4 cylinder motors in the 1987 era. What motor do you have?
