Would like help on HP of 5.8L Cobra OMC

I have a 5.8L Cobra OMC in an '89 Bayliner Capri 2150. It also has an OMC drive unit. Any ideas on actual horsepower of this rig?

Approx. 230-250......To be exact you would need to post the serial # of your engine & stern drive....JK

Many thanks. Where would the SN of the engine be found? I can see the SN for the drive already.

Prolly 225/230 w/2bbl, 250 or so w/4bbl.<br /><br />OMC put the info in the valve cover. If it's missing, somebody removed it or replaced the cover.
