That's what I was thinking. I kind of do this anyway because it lifts the bow and lets the boat go up the trailer easier. If someone ticked me off I might would lift it a little more. If they say anything I'll just tell them that the boat goes up the trailer easier that way.
I think I did accidentally get someone wet one time.
The ramp I use most you is put in at a bad angle and with the way the dock is and the way it is in the cove you don't have very much of a straight shot anyway.
As far as docking the boat, I don't use a ramp with more than 2 ramps and more than 1 dock, but to me, when you dock your boat it should be out of the way of the ramp so someone in line before you can use the ramp without your boat being in the way. And if one person is loading the boat while someone else gets the trailer, drop that person off and get the boat out of the way so other boats can use the dock and the ramp. If you're going to hand around the ramp for a while, move your boat well away from the dock people use while launching/retrieving their boats.
What? You didn't raise the drive to power load and fill their boat with water?
