Towing that boat with the jeep is a case of the tail wagging the dog.
I agree with "don't do it"
I had Ramchargers with tow ratings of 7500# with a 7500# load. I was on pins and needles during the tows. Traded in on a Ford expedition with a 8900# H/D tow package. Big difference...
For that boat I would recommend a mid or full size P/U or SUV with a tow package rated at least 6K.
