Guess there isnt many stingray boat owners out there but im new to boating my self and just scored a 87' Stingray 19ft open bow with a chevy sterndrive..

ya..well i just got the bilge pump working again today..tommarow pulling off all the wood and getting it re-painted..

Only one more month until the marina opens again for the season here. My seats are being redone over the winter so I'm looking forward to March.

the teak has been oiled up just waiting for that right color that i want..also anyone know how to replace the fuel pump? Im having allot of trouble with it..it will not line up correctly. Sorry im a newb to boats..

Hey I bought a 1981 Sting Ray 140h, 19 foot, set up for fishing over the winter. I have her at the canvas place getting a new and higher top and side curtains put on her. I replaced all engine components(electrical) over the winter and had to replace the bildge as well.<br />I get her back this week and still have to do all the fluid changes and install a new fish finder and down rigger base. The slip opens up this Saturday and I'm hopeing to be ready.<br />I'm new to bigger boats, so I have a lot to look forward too.

I just bought a 98' 18" 181rs with a 90hp Evinrude. Had it out twice I am quite happy with it and got a good deal on it, other than the seats need to be replaced(for some stupid reason I thought I could find these used) the boat runs and rides just fine.
