wrong size ear muffs?

I just flushed my 1971 Johnson 85hp for the first time using the "standard" $9.99 muffs, but water just gushed out the side of the muffs and I didn't see anything coming out peeholes. motor is fine in lake. It seems the muffs don't fit snugly, or am I not supposed to turn on water full blast? I shut it down after a few seconds when I didn't see water flowing out.

I had a merc 115 and the same thing happened. Turn the water pressure down and try again.

look are you even going to gimmie some help on my post dood! tell me if i can go fishing, when you normally change thermostats after 10 years do you normally see a temp difference?

DOOD! wrong post dude!!! (weres my car) <br /><br />go to wallmart, they have these cool new muffs that come in colors (collect them all) they have very big ears (like an elephent!) <br /><br />COllect them all!
