The mfgboats.com web site is no longer a stand alone site. The site in its entirety has been moved to figberglassics.com, (but the message forum has been deleted) as an entry under the MFG logo.

So iboats.com is now the sole web site with a dedicated message board for MFG boats.

Funny how Jim Coffman (webmaster of mfgboats.com) did not even bother to let his subscribers know about the change....

Mark42,

Didn't Jim mention at one time that he wanted to charge for using mfgboats.com?

He tried a few things. He wanted to charge, but when no one was willing to pay, he started ranking people by how much they contributed and issued a color coded rank based on your contributions - money or purchases of his t-shirts, hats, etc.

It was a real turn-off. I spoke with him a few times on the phone. Jim was not much of a people person and has the gift of offending those he tries to attract.
