Just stay above the reef. Take your time and never chase. They know when you change from observer to hunting. Shoot down always. Kill shot or don't take it. Worst that happens is you loose a spear versus a gun and getting hurt.

I have a friend who made the mistake of getting his foot close to those choppers...Nearly took his foot off...
