Can anyone explain X dimention in laymans terms? How would you check to be sure it is correct or is there ever a need to after the initial installation of the motor?
X-dimension is the motor mounting height on the transom.<br /><br />Generally the antiventilation plate should be level with the bottom/keel line.<br /><br />A search here will reveal plenty about it.
