why would you want to use it for premix (expensive), but yes it can be used. any brand rated TC-W3 can be used.

want to run it in my kicker to see if it wont smoke as much i can get it bulk for 31.00 gal..right now im running xd50 and it smokes bad still and ive cut the oil back some when mixed..

I suggest you try the Red Line 2 stroke smokeless oil. I have several duck hunters and striper fishermen that swear by it.

Penzoil 100% Synthetic TC-W3 at Wal Mart. That's all I use any more. For awhile I thought they quit selling it, but they had taken it off the sporting good shelves and put it with the car oil. That was pretty dumb, it is clearly marked Marine Oil.

Boy do I agree with this one! I had the same conversation with several of my local Wallyworld sporting goods managers. Putting marine 2-stroke "erl" in the automotive section, is just dumb!

I buy XD-50 in bulk at my local BRP/OMC dealer. I premix it at the standard 50:1, for my '72 Johnson 65hp. When I can't get that (after hours, weekends, etc.) I buy Pennzoil semi-synthetic from Academy Sports. I'd be just as happy to buy the stuff from Wallyworld, but they don't seem to be stocking the Pennzoil semi-syn.
