Gosh darn it........I was just tryin to get something out of my coat and I spilled wine (white) all over the persons bed!!! Luckily the person who is hosting the party - they are both my life long friends, the guy isnt mad at all, the girl is pretty pissed......

I don't know if I'll hear from them till spring, but man, it's the ONLY party foul I've ever done.. but it's a big one.......

Have you ever party fouled? If so what did you do and how did it turn out?

I promptly left the party 10 mins later because I didn't wana create a weirdER situation than I already had done.

I party fouled once. I puked all over my bosses newly renovated bathroom. Too much to eat, not feeling great to begin with a few too many wobbly pops. Cleaned it up myself and was taken home right after. The next weekend my buddy had a party that my boss and his GF were at, they laughed at me... but thought it was nice that I cleaned up my own mess :p

It's funny, they are both life long friends who married one another...

The guy didn't care much, he was just like "ok lets get it in the washer.."

but the girl, well, she is female ya know.....so they tend to take things more intense...

Who knows how it'll go...I was just feeling the negative vibes from her x10 so I decided to say thanks, merry xmas and leave.

Sounds like a huge over reaction to me, especially since you
said you had never committed a party foul there before. Buy
her a new bedspread as a peace offering.

Years ago while enjoying cold adult beverages at a friends I
accidently dropped a lit cigarette on the floor and his kitten
pounced on the red tip setting itself on fire. The cat was ok
and their was no female member of the household!

Lol Now thats a funny party foul ROFLMAO, That is one funny visual( ok, yes I have a sick sense of humor)

Hey Thajeffski, Accidentally spilling white wine on a bed isn't the worst thing in the world, its not like you set their cat on fire  OMG, sorry Deck Swabber, thats funny.
If I was you I'd call my buddy to wish him a Merry Christmas and say something like Sorry about that man,... Is wifey still pissed at me? " That will bring it fully in the open again, and help heal things with his wife. Or being she is a friend too call her directly and ask her in a loving joking manner how long till your off her S%!t list for it.

Yep, you are 200% right,
But sometimes you have to brown-nose the significant other so your best bud don't have to hear it

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

he said "Merry Xmas, we washed the comforter JERK"

lol - I know he's kidding and he prob didn't care.......but I still think the woman will take longer to cool off... I wrote back

"haha good, I guess I'll find another xmas eve party to go to next year!"

Yeah, I did. I met a woman at a party and hit it off with her really well. She was very receptive to the conversation and very receptive to being asked out.

I later found out that she had been dating someone that I knew well enough to feel bad about the situation. Truth be told, I think the woman was about to dump him anyway, but it was still awkward.

Obvious questions left unanswered:

1. What where you doing in the Master bedroom?

2. What were you doing on the hostess's bed, with a glass of wine?

3. And mostly...just what were you "reaching for"?

I'd not throw your fate to a jury of your peers...cop a plea!

1. My coat was on the bed

2. I was standing next to it with the wine - the place was packed and I didn't want to put my glass down.

3. I wanted to get my phone out of my coat pocket to check if this really hot 20 year old chick ( I'm 29) had texted me yet......which she had. :)

Guys, Guys calm down, In his defense as he stated in article 1 he was retrieving something from his coat !!! :D

Coats are often all piled on the bed in the Master bedroom

My guess is that she texted cause she realize that she over-reacted last night an is looking to calm the waters

BTW: Jay, got to be real careful in those situations I almost had to leave town cause of a similar one that you described Lol. Always remember Guy rule #1 buddies girl ALWAYS off limits even if she is real real HOT and a wild one with Harley Tattoo's up her legs !!! (Errrrrrrrrrrr, memories )
Rule #2 even if you just know the dude refer to rule #1.
Rule #3 if the ex or future ex is a Real bad arse, bouncer, dealer, mob, Really Really Refer to RULE # 1.
Take it from me, been there done that, Oops , start referring to concealed weapons post, NEXT lol

Soooooooooooooooo, did you at least get to talk to the 20yo ?????
if so then some white wine was worth it.
Look at it this way at least it wasn't 20yo scotch, or a Chianti, Malbec etc. That would have just been a crime!!! There is just no forgiving for spilling Good wine Lol

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
