How do I get something off the "Open at start up"?
I want to be able to just click it off my desktop to open it.

Spinner,
If I understand what you're asking, type "msconfig" without the quotes in the Run... blank in the start menu and choose the Startup tab. Uncheck the box and you should be good to go. If it doesn't show up there, try using the startup list tool on spybot Search and Destroy, which you should have installed anyway (http://www.safer-networking.org)

Ol' Norse, maybe you can answer another question, and this is all my fault.
Is there anyway to retrieve an email that was accidentally deleted from the email deleted folder?

Re: XP home ?

Well, a lot of that depends on which client you're using. If it's Outlook, my understanding is that you've got to use some kind of recovery software, but someone else here may be able to tell you better. Maybe you should start another thread. There are lots of programs to do it, but as with most Windows software, they're not free. Here's a trial download of one:

http://www.shareup.com/Advanced_Outlook_Express_Recovery-download-12998.html

I'm sure there're others, but since I don't do email with Windows computers, I don't know anything about any of 'em personally. Sorry. Let me know if it's not Outlook, and we'll see what we can find.

Good luck!
ON

Sorry, SBN, I've no idea. Didn't see anything out there on the web that would be helpful either.

Good luck!

Thanks again Ol' Norse.
I have since set it different so as not to do that anymore, but it was in my junk folder and it was set up to empty upon exit and poof, it left.

A while back I downloaded a free little program called Startup Cop and it lets you remove or disable programs that are in startup.
