I am considering going to look at this boat. I cant really find much info about xpress boats on here. Anybody have any experience with them? And as far as that honda 75 goes I am "thinking" that its a decent motor. Shouldn't be any more expensive to maintain that say a Merc, or Johnson, right? Or do honda's require specialized hard to come by parts. And does $5500 seem fair? I cant tell if that is a fuel injected or not and I dont know what to look for to tell if its power t&t. Thanks in advance.
Looks like a great boat for fishing out little lakes around here.

Okay, some actual answers to your questions. I'd be shocked if it didn't have PT&T, and it does appear to. Honda outboards are as well thought of as everything else they make and parts availability shouldn't be an issue. Can't speak to service availability as that depends on what kind of dealer network you have in your little corner of the lone star state, but cost of maintenance should be comparable to any other brand of that vintage. Xpress really does build a great boat and that one looks really nice. Water test it today, then give him what he's asking for it.

that makes me feel a little more confident. I like the little boat and I have accepted the reality that I might not get the bowrider I want right now due to life happening and the extra boat money i have set aside being threatened but this little boat would put a small dent in what I have saved and it would get me off the bank and fishing where I want to be. Then maybe next spring i will have enough saved for the strictly fun boat. Life sure doesn't cooperate with a plan  I have read plenty of bass tracker horror stories that when this one came along it seemed like a better plan.

That looks like a great rig for $5500!. In 1999 I bought a new Express 1870 with Yamaha C90HP, boat is strong, durable, all-welded, no problems. We use the boat for fishing, camping, cruising, etc. That boat with the Honda 75HP should be a sweet ride! Good Luck!

Xpress bass boats are very popular up here in Missouri where people run them on the rivers. Very heavy duty boat. Great construction. And that Honda Four is a nice engine. Great price on the boat seals the deal!

You'll really enjoy fishing from that boat raymond, and should you ever decide to unload it (which is unlikely) you'll be pleased with the resale value. Just be sure to perform your due diligence before turning loose of the funds.

That price seems a little too good to be true to me?

Possibly. Emphasis on the due diligence. Geography is definitely a factor in this case though. Those bad boys are made in Arkansas.

I googled it and found it on another forum just to make sure it "wasnt too good to be true" Craigslist Bs.

Says boat is a 98 and motor is a 2000.

Sounds like a good deal. I deal with the other half of Xpress which is Veranda. Great company to work with.
