Y pipe exhaust boot direction?

Just realized that the lower exhaust boot connecting the elbow to the y pipe has a slight bend in it that I didn't notice on install. I can't figure out which way it's supposed to bend. Any thoughts?

If it is not marked top or bottom left or right just go ahead and clamp it any way it wants to fit. I know this project has been a real Murphy headache but it looks like you have just about whipped. Good luck

Getting close. Still having lateral alignment issues I can't figure out. Wondering if installing the boots the wrong way might be enough to pull the engine sideways. Just cranked on it with a breaker bar and rear mounts loose though, and that didn't do it, so doubt the boots are the reason. I'm going to say screw it. Still wondering if my gimbal is seated fully and if that would do it.
