Ya ever notice , you dont spend enough on yourself?

Kinda goes with the truck post - I inventoried my shoes, and hell I got 2 pair I may wear to weddings, job interview, 2 suits, my 5 yr old NB shoes I cant even keep inside anymore(stinky!), and 1 pair Redwings for work I just resoled, and 2 other pair of work boots...(sub std to Redwings) and my Redwings so comfy, I wear them almost everyday, and they steel toe!!
Yup, Im a bachelor.... lol

I can beat that, three pair.....Timberlands for work (non-S.T.), Bates side-zip combat type boots that get worn everywhere else, and a pair of old sneakers that rarely get worn.

Had a pair of the Redwings for work. Paid over $200 for them, and they lasted less than two years. Very disappointed. Picked up the Timberlands for about $100 almost two years ago, and they are still in great condition. JMO...

Now, the wife on the other hand......

Wife is always telling me to get new shoes! Why??? Who needs more than 4 pair? She complains because pair # 3 & 4 have holes in them and look "terrible". But I say they are comfy, so who cares what they look like!

One pair of dress shoes. One pair of tennis shoes, one pair of snow boots, one pair of metatarsal work boots and 3 pairs of flip flops.

I spend my allowance elsewhere.

I'm with dingbat minus the flip flops, do not like them....... 1 suit, usually only worn for a wedding or a funeral. Thankfully, neither lately. I'll wear the same clothes for years. My wife gets on me about that. My favorite clothes items are quilted flannel shirts. The flannel is literally falling apart b/4 I, or the wife, gets rid of them. That's when they just get comfortable........ To me, buying clothes is a waste of money. Rather spend clothes money on toys, or, toy accessories.........

....Thats why I want you to buy that 61' Ford/429 Heinz...then you'll be putting everything back in balance.

No suites,no dress shoes,1 pair of work sneakers,1 pair of dress sneakers when I buy clothes try to buy the best so they will last at least 5 years the only thing I wear out on a regular basics is the sneakers(bowleg looks like I just got off a horse ) so I buy sneakers every 6 months
